It was almost as if Goodkind was writing about himself and just making himself really awesome. So instead of claiming his throne and turning the D'Harans into a force for good they have him decide that it is a much better idea to keep fighting them every step of the way while he continues on his quest.Ī note about the author, I've read quite a few books, my favourite series is the late Robert Jordans Wheel of Time series. The fact that Richard (the main charactor) is actually a Rahl is not dealt with properly, because they don't want to have him stop fighting D'Haran soldiers.
